Al-Anon has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics since 1951 and was born out of Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcoholism is truly a family disease. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people. No matter your relationship with an alcoholic, whether they are drinking or not, it is possible to find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship. All who have lost a spouse or partner are welcome to attend. It doesn’t matter how much time has gone by since the loss. This is a caring group, wanting to support each other. Bring your own lunch and beverage and gather in the Fellowship Hall. Please call the church for more information. This is a social group where we can help each other with friendship and conversation.
