6:30 pm: Al-Anon
– May 28, 2024
Welcome to Space Coast Al-anon, we're so happy you found us.
Al-Anon has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics since 1951 and was born out of Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcoholism is truly a family disease. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people. No matter your relationship with an alcoholic, whether they are drinking or not, it is possible to find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.

Reasons To Believe (RTB) is a ministry whose mission is to spread the Christian
Gospel by demonstrating that sound reason and scientific research—including the
very latest discoveries—consistently support, rather than erode, confidence in the
truth of the Bible. The Melbourne RTB chapter meets at Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd on the
second Tuesday of each month from 7 - 8:30PM in the Session Room. Please park and enter on the west side of
the building. We also use Zoom video conferencing if you cannot physically attend. Our monthly meetings include a
video and lively discussions. Come join us for our next meeting—you’ll go home energized and thinking. For more
info, contact the RTB Melbourne Chapter at email address rtb.melbourne.fl@gmail.com
Lunch Bunch will be going to Dockside on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:30 a.m. If you would like to join us
and/or need a ride, please contact Pam Seaver Pain at 321-848-1641.
Sponsored by The Connecting Team, this is your opportunity to meet someone you
may not know or reconnect old friendships. We’ll be honoring our new members,
recent birthdays and Pastor Scott will be blessing our newly installed kitchen
appliances!!
This team will be once again be serving dinner to FIT’s Protestant Campus Ministry
students. We are serving a second time this term because PCM is trying to build attendance back to pre Covid
levels and have scheduled weekly dinners again. We will be hosting an Italian night: Lasagna (or other Italian
casserole), Salad, Soup, Garlic Bread and homemade desserts. Contact Melanie Carnes (321) 223-0215 if you
are able to provide a casserole or a homemade dessert. “Breaking bread together” is a good way to get to know
some of these students.
