OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Step In, Lend a Hand, Make a Difference!
Looking for ways to get involved and use your gifts? We’ve got some exciting
opportunities for you to be part of something special!
Help Us Fill the Library
Starting on Earth Day, we are collecting books for the library to start an Earth Care section. We are looking for books for all ages including children too. Some topics could be natural remedies, gardening, nature-themed, composting, recycling, Taking care of our planet, water conservation, God’s creation, best hikes in Florida, etc. We’ll have a box in the library area to collect the donations.
Help Build the Labyrinth
We’re creating a peaceful, meditative labyrinth- and we need helping hands for various tasks, big and small. If you enjoy working outdoors or being part of something reflective and meaningful, this is a great way to serve. Contact Brenden at leonard.brenden@gmail.com to join the project!
Help with Facebook Live Streaming
We’re expanding our digital reach, and you can be a part of it! If you’re interested in helping stream our services to those at home, reach out to Bob Reynolds at pcgstech@outlook.com.
Recycle Your Old Computer, Power Our Church’s Future!
Don’t let that old computer go to waste! Bring your desktops and laptops (no accessories) to church, and we’ll turn Them into funds for our Recycling account to benefit Good Shepherd. We’ll ensure your data is wiped and handle the recycling process. It’s an easy way to declutter and support our church! Act now!
Contact Bob Reynolds at pcgstech@outlook.com with any questions.
Continue bringing non-perishable foods
On May 5, we dropped off 49 pounds of food at the South Brevard Sharing Center. They were so happy to receive our donation.
Director Victoria said to convey their appreciation to our community of faith. Every Sunday, more food appears in the box on the table in the Narthex. Soon, we will take more food to them! We want to help keep their pantry shelves full; the need is so great!
As of May 5, we have donated 350 pounds of food!
Your Pennies add up
We collect for 5 CENTS A MEAL on the Fourth Sunday of every month. We collected a total of $314.40 in March. Please continue giving; every penny counts. Think of that when you find a penny lying at your feet in a parking lot!
